Installing a Pioneer/Sony/Kenwood/Alpine or other aftermarket headunit in your vehicle? These harnesses maintain many of the features of your stock unit, including connecting your stock backup camera to your new aftermarket headunit. Below is the set of harnesses that connect to the factory wiring harness on a 2016+ Subaru. These harnesses will provide wire connections for an aftermarket headunit without splicing wires or cutting the factory harness.
Harman Kardon Note: If your vehicle has the Harman Kardon audio package, installation of an aftermarket headunit will require additional hardware to replace/bypass the factory Harman Kardon amplifier. Please contact us for details.
The backup camera interface will provide 6 vdc to your backup camera for power and will also provide the video signal to the aftermarket headunit.
28-pin Harness:
The 28-pin harness will retain:
-Backup camera functionality
-Auxiliary inputs(***Analog audio input only. USB is not included***)
-Reverse Gear Signal
-Vehicle Speed Signal
-E-brake Signal
-Steering Wheel control signals will be provided via a connector for the Maestro SW. Integration will require an iDatalink Maestro or similar steering wheel control integration unit. (The AXXESS ASWC-1 is not recommended for this application - More Info) The Maestro SW will be plug and play!
Need a 3.5mm cable for your steering wheel controls? If your headunit has the capability to recognize the steering wheel controls without an interface module, such as the iDatalink Maestro, you may need a cable to connect between the 3.5mm jack on the headunit and the 28-pin harness. The 3.5mm jack for connecting to the back of the new headunit can be purchased HERE.

20-pin Subaru Direct wire harness for Sony Headunits (2007-up Non-Navigation vehicles)

Installing a Sony aftermarket headunit in your vehicle? These harnesses maintain many of the features of your stock unit. Here are the parts that will be required for your 2012 WRX:
-20-pin harness with Sony Connector (Fully plug and play with Sony Headunits)
-16-pin harness wired with RCA connectors or 3.5mm plug for the auxiliary input connections
-USB adapter to retain functionality of the USB port in the console
Note that the 2012 WRX does not have the Reverse or E-brake signals available in the audio harness. Some Subaru models have this signal on pin 15 and pin 16 of the 16-pin connector. The 16-pin harness will be provided with non-functional wire leads in these positions. Please disregard these additional wires.

2015 Impreza and Crosstrek with Navigation
Installing a Pioneer/Sony/Kenwood/Alpine or other aftermarket headunit in your vehicle? These harnesses maintain many of the features of your stock unit, including connecting your stock backup camera to your new aftermarket headunit. Below is the set of harnesses that connect to the factory wiring harness on a 2015 Impreza/Crosstrek. These harnesses will provide wire connections for an aftermarket headunit without splicing wires or cutting the factory harness.
Harman Kardon Note: If your 2015 Impreza/Crosstrek has the Harman Kardon audio package, installation of an aftermarket headunit will require additional hardware to replace/bypass the factory Harman Kardon amplifier. Please contact us for details.
The backup camera interface will provide 6 vdc to your backup camera for power and will also provide the video signal to the aftermarket headunit.
What Wiring Do I Need?

Integration will require an iDatalink Maestro or similar steering wheel control integration unit. (The AXXESS ASWC-1 is not recommended for this application - More Info)
Need a 3.5mm cable for your steering wheel controls? If your headunit has the capability to recognize the steering wheel controls without an interface module, such as the iDatalink Maestro, you may need a cable to connect between the 3.5mm jack on the headunit and the 28-pin harness. The 3.5mm jack for connecting to the back of the new headunit can be purchased HERE.

2015 Legacy and Outback with Navigation
Installing a Pioneer/Sony/Kenwood/Alpine or other aftermarket headunit in your vehicle? These harnesses maintain many of the features of your stock unit, including connecting your stock backup camera to your new aftermarket headunit. Below is the set of harnesses that connect to the factory wiring harness on a 2015 Legacy/Outback. These harnesses will provide wire connections for an aftermarket headunit without splicing wires or cutting the factory harness.
Harman Kardon Note: If your 2015 Legacy/Outback has the Harman Kardon audio package, installation of an aftermarket headunit will require additional hardware to replace/bypass the factory Harman Kardon amplifier. Please contact us for details.
The backup camera interface will provide 6 vdc to your backup camera for power and will also provide the video signal to the aftermarket headunit.
What Wiring Do I Need?
The following adapters are recommended for installation of an aftermarket headunit in a 2015 Subaru Legacy or Outback:

Integration will require an iDatalink Maestro or similar steering wheel control integration unit. (The AXXESS ASWC-1 is not recommended for this application - More Info)
Need a 3.5mm cable for your steering wheel controls? If your headunit has the capability to recognize the steering wheel controls without an interface module, such as the iDatalink Maestro, you may need a cable to connect between the 3.5mm jack on the headunit and the 28-pin harness. The 3.5mm jack for connecting to the back of the new headunit can be purchased HERE.
